Money Money Money. Savings Tips?

Lately I have been infatuated with Money!
Those that know me...well know that I wasn't always so good with it.
Lately I have been crazy about being financially stable. Everything I buy now I am analyzing. Is this something I need? Or is it something I want (More often then not if you take a minute to think, you DON'T need it) My days of shopping at Costco are over (Buying in bulk as a single person can lead to a lot of waste, especially fresh produce). Unless there is some crazy deal, I am looking over flyers and making the right grocery store choice. Between Food Basics and Zehrs I should easily be able to find the best deals weekly and they are both very close to my condo. The most crazy thing I find myself doing...finding the deals before they happen. More specifically at Zehrs, there is specific things that I will take note on expiry. I will make sure I go a few days before this point and more often than not there is 30-50% stickers placed on these items. It may sound crazy, but the majority of my meat is 30-50% off, couple this with regular meat sales at certain grocery stores and I am way on top! I cook for myself so I can easily buy the product and make it the same day, or freeze it for another.
Electricity? Try converting your home to LED. Most local energy companies supply online coupons for upgrading your lights, especially to LED. Keep track of local sales, especially at Costco where you can get a great deal on LED bulbs, then likely take another $5 off the package.
Try using points cards, generally they are free and lead to free items in the long run. Just don't be duped by bad deals based on the points....Shoppers Drug Mart is the one that sticks out in my head....
